2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, Email Address, Contact Number, and Organization/Club Details upon registering an account.
• Tournament & Athlete Data: Team names, team logos, player names, playing styles (batting/bowling), player photos, ball-by-ball match deliveries, runs scored, wickets, and match awards.
• Device, Error & Diagnostic Telemetry: Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, operating systems, date/time stamps, referring/exit pages, crash reports, JavaScript error stack traces, and click breadcrumbs to monitor system reliability, prevent scoring fraud, and diagnose application failures.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the CricSyncLive ball-by-ball scoring engine and tournament management suite.
• To calculate ICC-compliant Net Run Rates (NRR), standings tables, and tournament brackets.
• To generate transparent OBS Studio stream overlays and live match graphics.
• To detect, isolate, and debug software crashes, rendering errors, and live score sync failures across devices.
• To prevent unauthorized access, mitigate bot abuse, and ensure scoring integrity.
• To provide customer support and notify tournament owners regarding match status.

4. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising & Diagnostic Disclosures

Like many modern web applications, CricSyncLive uses 'cookies' and local browser storage to retain scorer session state, theme preferences, and user logins.

Google Analytics (GA4): We use Google Analytics to track anonymized website usage metrics. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard internet log information.

Application Stability & Error Monitoring (Sentry): We use Sentry (provided by Functional Software, Inc.) to identify, capture, and debug client-side and server-side errors in real time. When an error or crash occurs, Sentry records technical diagnostic telemetry, including error stack traces, device and browser specifications, and user action breadcrumbs leading up to an issue. To assist our engineering team in resolving complex UI failures, visual Session Replays may be reconstructed for sessions with active errors. Sensitive input fields (such as passwords, authorization tokens, or payment details) are automatically masked and strictly excluded at the browser level. Telemetry is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is never sold or used for marketing.

Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising: Google, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads on our site based on prior visits. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

5. Data Protection & Security (Zero Data Selling)

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade personal information to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies. All database interactions occur over encrypted SSL/TLS connections, backed by Supabase row-level security (RLS) policies.
